Shorter answer: I bought a surprise me set in size small and squishy soft firmness and got a white/purple egg, a solid purple egg and a shimmery black egg. I have tried them both in my ovipositor and inserting them by hand. I’ve been having a lot of fun with them. The squishy soft firmness has a lot of give as expected and is very comfortable for me. They do seem to attract lint even better than usual, but since I make sure to wash my toys before and after play, that isn’t a deal breaker. The squishy soft firmness also feels slightly sticky but that didn’t stop them from easily coming out of my ovipositor. I’m very happy with my purchase.
Longer answer/Stats for nerds: If you’ve been interested in love eggs and have been going through reviews trying to figure out if they’re for you, maybe this will help. 1) first and foremost, using these requires you to figure out how to activate and use your pelvic floor muscles to push the eggs out after you’ve inserted them. Usually people say to stop your urine midstream and that’s the feeling of using the pelvic floor muscles.(it’s important not to get into the habit of doing this though, so don’t go bonkers with this method). It helped me get an idea of what I should do, but it still took some time to get the strength needed for ease of pushing the eggs out. This leads to 2) you can practice with a female condom if you’re worried about not being able to push the eggs out. This is especially important if you have conditions that make you very tight. No one wants an awkward ER visit. The eggs won’t get lost inside of you because the vagina is a closed cavity, but some people have conditions and have reported getting eggs a bit stuck behind their cervix. If you have any diagnosed issues, you may want to pass on these especially if you’re playing solo. I found that I was able to use my fingers to manipulate the last egg if it was a bit difficult to push out when I first started since I have a shorter “lady cave” but not everyone will have that 3) Take a deep breath, go into a deep squat and use your pelvic floor muscles to push down. This will push the eggs out of you. Depending on how far inside they are, they may not pop out immediately, but they will get out. The relief after they are out again is part of the fun for some. 4) Everyone is a bit different anatomically. When I bought my first set, I couldn’t fit all three inside of me at once. Some people have reported fitting in five eggs plus a dildo. After practicing over the autumn and winter months, I can often fit in three and sometimes four at once although this can make me feel too stuffed/uncomfortable if I don’t stretch properly. Some people like that, so that could be an added bonus depending upon your fantasies. It’s important to remember that we’re all different, so you don’t have to try to stuff yourself full of two sets of eggs. Just relax and have fun with what you can do and if you like a challenge, you can slowly work up to more eggs or larger eggs. 5) although there is currently no scientific evidence that these eggs will make you have better orgasms, I have personally found that enhance my “finishes” more often than not. The way my body clenches around the eggs before I “finish” adds an interesting sensation to the experience. Sometimes the eggs almost feel like they’re wiggling, probably because of the internal contractions when you orgasm. In short, if you want to spice up your life with something different, these eggs may be worth exploring. 6) there is some possibility that they can ease menstrual cramps by strengthening your pelvic floor muscles. I haven’t really had a problem since I started using eggs in July of 2025, but I have also been doing other things under a doctor’s guidance. So it’s not the eggs alone. They haven’t worsened my menstrual pains so that’s always good. 7) I found the squishy soft to be especially comfortable for wearing around and could barely feel them. I was able to insert all three. Now that I have a medium set, a super soft set and a squishy soft set, I can say that they have different pros and cons. Squishy soft is probably the most comfortable for me. No problem inserting them either by hand or ovipositor. They collect lint quite easily but keeping them clean solves this issue easily enough. Super soft is also a comfortable option. I can feel them if I clench, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Inserting them and “finishing” with them inside of is particularly good. Medium firmness is less comfortable for inserting by hand, but I like the contrast when they are in the ovipositor. The above is just my humble opinion. If you prefer getting “pounded”, you may like the medium firmness best. I prefer gentle play, so I lean towards the super and squishy soft firmnesses.
