The best knot dildo for most people is a small, soft one. Think The Knot II Dildo or The Dragon: Knot I Dildo in X-Small, poured in Super Soft. At that size the knot is about 4.5" around. Already a knot regular? Still size down from your usual dildo, then pick your shape below.
Right then. Full disclosure: we make every toy on this list (shocking, we know). What we can give you is every knot drawn to scale and honest "not for you if" notes. Plus the real reason most people buy the wrong size first time.
Step 1: find your knot size (size down, seriously)
The knot is the widest part, so size by the knot, not the shaft. Width is what decides whether the evening goes well.
- Measure a toy you already like. Wrap a soft tape (or a strip of paper) round its widest point. That's your circumference.
- Size down. The knot has to pass, so go one size smaller than you would for a smooth dildo.
- No toy to compare? Start X-Small or Small. A small knot dildo isn't settling for less. You still get the stretch, the pop and the full feeling.
- Only size up once it feels easy. Comfortable, not just survivable.

How to read it: two numbers matter. Insertable length is how much actually goes in. Widest circumference is the measurement round the fattest point, which on a knot is almost always the knot itself. Knot width matters most (length is rarely the problem).
After a large, huge or XL knot dildo? Most of our knots go up to Large, and a handful go to X-Large. Trust the measurements in the guide above over the size label. A Large in one shape can be a lot more than a Large in another.
Step 2: choose your firmness
- Super Soft (00-40): our best seller, and the one we'd pick for a first knot. It squashes a little as the knot goes in.
- Squishy Soft (00-20): our softest, and the most forgiving on big knots (basically a marshmallow with ambition).
- Medium (10A): holds its shape, so you feel the full width of the knot. Lovely once you know your size, and the best pick for suction cups and harnesses.

A gentle first knot (start here)
The Knot II Dildo, The Dragon: Knot I Dildo or The Dragon: Knot II Dildo. In X-Small, all three have a knot about 4.5" around. The Knot II is slim, sleek and a dream for newbies. Shorter shaft, straight to the knot (easy shape)
The Werewolf III Dildo or The Werewolf IV Dildo. Less journey, more destination. The Werewolf III has a shorter shaft and a thick knot, so you get to the good part quicker. The Werewolf IV has a slight curve and a mini knot that swells rather than pops. Not for you if: you like a long warm up on the shaft before the knot arrives.
A classic big knot
The Knot Dildo, The Werewolf Dildo or The Werewolf II Dildo. The Knot is our bestselling Knot: tapered tip, subtly ridged shaft and a veined base. The Werewolf (another best seller) has a realistic tip, a ribbed shaft, a sizeable knot and a cum tube option. The Werewolf II pairs a slender tip with a broad, thick knot. Not for you if: this is your very first knot. Start above, or take one of these in X-Small.
Two knots (or three)
The Knot IV Dildo, The Dragon: Knot III Dildo or The Dragon: Knot IV Dildo. The stretch comes in stages. The Knot IV has a first swell partway down to warm you up, then a bigger knot, plus ribbing. Both Dragon: Knots have three bulges that grow as you go. The Dragon: Knot IV was designed by a customer (@critical_queer) in Design a Dildo. Fancy an alien? The Geeyem Dildo has two knots with waves and subtle nubs.
Tentacles, with a knot (some stretch)
The Tentacle: Knot Dildo, The Tentacle: Knot II Dildo or The Entrapped: Tentacle Dildo. The Tentacle: Knot has suckers and a gradual knot. The Knot II is slimmer, with the knot sitting higher up the shaft. The Entrapped is coiled, with knot like rings, and it's all about girth over length. Not for you if: you're new to girth and eyeing the Entrapped.
Something a bit different (easy shape)
The Satyr Dildo, The Equiknot Dildo or The Capricorn Dildo. The Satyr has a flat head and a dash of mythology. The Equiknot is a classic knot with a slightly flared head. The Capricorn is our first true double dildo, for double penetration or external clit stimulation, and it won our Design a Dildo competition.
Knots that vibrate (easy shape)
The Knot Bullet Sleeve, The Werewolf Bullet Sleeve or The Tentacle: Knot Bullet Sleeve (there's a Geeyem one too). Stretchy silicone sleeves that fit most bullet vibrators. Buy one on its own, or with a bullet. Not for you if: you want a big, firm knot. Sleeves are stretchy by design.
Size kings and queens (final boss)
The Knot III Dildo or the Sinnovator Warrior Dragon Dildo. The Knot III is what happens when The Knot goes to the gym: thicker curves, a pronounced head and a bold knot. The Warrior comes from our sister brand Sinnovator. Conical pointed head, rippling ridges, nubs, a knot, and a design competition win. It goes up to X-Large. Not for you if: you haven't comfortably taken a Large knot somewhere else. These are serious sizes.
Made to order or Ready Made?
Made to order is how most of our knots happen. You pick the size, firmness and colours (the colour guide is a rabbit hole, you've been warned). You can add a double suction cup for hands free play, a Vac-U-Lock hole, or a cum tube on most models. The flared bases fit a standard harness. Each one is hand poured after you order, and the current wait lives on our shipping page.
